Shamis Saffron - the Indian Takeaway in New Mills Quality Indian in New Mills
Located at the top of Union Road near the bus station in New Mills, the successful Indian Takeaway 'Shamis Saffron' provides a tremendous choice of exceptional quality Indian meals for every taste. It formed in the autumn of 2010 as a merger between Shamis, previously located above the Beehive Pub and Saffron Rice, located where Shamis Saffron is now. Very Experienced StaffShamis Saffron is managed front of house by Shami, ably dealing with customers on behalf of chefs Hira and Rahim supported by tandoori chef Bahar. Hira previously worked for 10 years in the kitchens of Memories of India restaurant in Whaley Bridge and at Bollywood Masala restaurant in Crewe before that, but was drawn initially to Saffron Rice and is now central to the vision Shamis Saffron has for providing a taste sensation at the heart of the Takeaway offering to match anything served in local Indian restaurants. Complimenting front of house and chefs are the delivery people Alec, Jack and Abdal. BackgroundIn 2000 Samis restaurant and takeaway was established above the Beehive Inn on Albion Road, New Mills, then in 2006 Shami took on customer services for the restaurant and takeaway sides of the business. The audience for takeaway services in New Mills is consistently stronger than for restaurant services, so in the autumn of 2010 Shami's chef Hira and Shami from Saffron Rice joined forces with Rahim from what was Saffron Rice takeway on Union Road to form Shamis Saffron takeaway. Great Menu and FlexibleKeen to demonstrate their culinary skills, flexibility and passion for Indian cooking, the chefs are very happy to style any dish to suit your taste and even prepare specials not on the menu on an ad hoc basis.
